New Wine Bible Institute exists to train students for full-time and part-time positions in the Christian Ministry, to train and educate laypersons to grow in their faith, and to be more productive children of God. NWBI is not a licensed or accredited Bible College, but has met the legal requirements to operate under Section 1005.06(f) of the Florida Education Code as a religious college.
New Wine Bible Institute files an annual application for exemption from licensing with the Florida Department of Education. This application contains an affidavit that NWBI's operating practices are consistent with those of licensed schools in the State of Florida.
The college has no tuition and charges no fees. Everyone who expresses a desire to grow their faith into the deeper things that God has ordained for His children has the right to enroll free of charge. The college is an educational ministry of Vero Vineyard Christian Church, Incorporated.
NWBI is an online Bible college. We use the physical facility of our parent organization, Vero Vineyard Christian Church at 1505 20th Street, Vero Beach, Florida for our office requirements. We also occasionally will have college classes for our local students at this location, though we do not currently do so.
NWBI operates as a charitable, not-for-profit corporation, incorporated under the laws of the state of Florida, and its operations are paid for by gifts from the members of its parent church, students, and other interested individuals.
NWBI has an open enrollment policy. Since our programs are tuition-free, and no legal contract or paperwork is required (and, therefore, no penalty for withdrawing from our course of study), we feel that anyone should have the opportunity to earn our degrees. Therefore, we have opened our bachelors degree program to anyone who is seeking to know our Lord and Savior better. To gain admission to our Masters Degree programs, a student must have a Bachelors degree from NWBI or another school approved by the Board.
NWBI has no financial assistance available, as the school furnishes its programs without charge to everyone. There is no need for any student loan and therefore, no need for any repayment disclosure. In some cases, the student must pay a fee for textbooks or other other fees to an outside supplier or contractor.
There are no employment placement services provided. The purpose of NWBI's programs are to enrich the student's Christian walk, not to qualify them for any type of position. We do expect some of our graduates to work full or part time in some type of christian ministry, but NWBI has no plans to host any employment placement service.
